Hello!
My name is Raphaëlle Taschet and I’m a French illustrator based in Norway.
After studying graphic design at the ESAG Penninghen in Paris, I graduated with a Master’s degree in art direction in 2011.
I honed my skills while working as an art director in an advertising agency for five years, before embarking on a new adventure by moving to Norway in 2017, where I now work as a full time freelance illustrator.
My style is characterized by a clean and delicate line work, combined with flat colors, subtle gradients and textures. I like the use of limited color palettes to create visual harmony and accentuate the intended mood in my compositions.
I’m particularly interested in cultural themes and the dynamics of human interactions and relationships, and I like documenting and building narratives around these themes in my personal work.
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy exploring the beautiful Norwegian nature, spotting the wild life, cooking Japanese recipes and diving into fantasy novels.
